Shinn Executive Summit 2026 Recap

The 2026 Shinn Group Executive Summit took place last week – March 11-13 in beautiful CO. This is consistently one of my favorite events of the year because of how the building community cares for each other. Everyone is rooting for each other and knows what it’s like to strive for success in a constantly changing industry. The Shinn Group, builders, and vendors in the network all want the best for each other and that desire is realized through the carefully curated trainings, breakout sessions, and ample time carved out for meaningful conversations. I’m not just there as a fundraiser for the mission of Homes for HOPE. I’m there as a friend investing in relationships that are years deep, and making new relationships that will grow over time. That’s what the inside of this industry looks like and I count it a great privilege to be a part of it.  

This year we talked a lot about healthy leadership and flourishing teams. We discussed how to wisely apply Artificial Intelligence in our contexts without eroding trust and losing the personal touch our audiences expect from us. And we discussed practical ways to steward our organizations more efficiently and with excellence.  

I was especially encouraged by all the ways builders and vendors in the Shinn network are eager to partner with us. Longstanding partners AND new! Higharc, NoviHome, Guild Mortgage, Daikin, TK Design, ECI, and others are all executing creative initiatives to support our mission and come alongside builders as they generate funds to invest in the talented men and women Homes for HOPE is privileged to serve in some of the toughest places on earth. I am coming home from this event filled with gratitude and eager to witness the resulting impact.
