Getting into the Living Water Business
I recently visited the Dominican Republic with a group of builders from around the country to see the work of Esperanza International, HOPE International’s partner in the Dominican Republic. Our first day, we visited an Esperanza client named Henry in Santo Domingo. When we arrived at Henry’s business, I was surprised to learn that he was also a pastor, and his business was also a church.

Our story began in the Willamette Valley in 1983 when Bev and Dennis Pahlisch broke ground on their first homes. As Northwest homebuilders, the Pahlisch Homes team has always been committed to creating lasting communities that reflect the local cultures and values. When we moved our operations to Central Oregon in 2003, this commitment didn’t change, it only expanded.
