Guild for Good Golf Invitational

Homes for HOPE was recently invited to be a benefitting charity in one of Guild Mortgage’s many Guild for Good Golf Invitational events organized by the Guild Giving Foundation. They have clearly cultivated a culture of generosity within this nationwide company. One senior leader at Guild Mortgage was even quoted as saying, “we need to do one of these fundraising events, every day in every city!”
This particular event was held at the gorgeous Arrowhead Golf Club just outside Denver, CO. Despite the challenging market people in the mortgage and real estate industries have been facing for going on 4 years now, the event participants showed unbelievable generosity! In addition to what the event sponsors contributed, Guild Mortgage team members and their friends and family donated more than $20,000 through on course opportunities like a “heckler’s hole” where comedians made fun of you as you teed off, a long drive pro who would get your team close to the pin, and a variety of mulligans you could purchase to get your team the win. The best teams AND worst team went home with bragging rights, trophies, and the knowledge that they had an impact on local and global charitable causes. Not a bad day at the “office”!
Homes for HOPE would like to thank Guild Mortgage for partnering with us to invest in the dreams of underserved families in some of the toughest places on earth, and especially Lonnie Jenkins who introduced us to the team at Guild Giving. If you’d like to get your company involved in supporting HOPE’s mission, please set up a meeting with one of our team members here:
